How We Got Here
Canine Logic officially opened in December, 2005 but that is not when we started.
Russ Avison, owner of Canine Logic has been training dogs the way dogs LOVE to learn full time since 1999 with the hopes of being the best. Having achieved that goal we are now proudly serving a large cadre of both first time and returning customers. Pet Parents look to us for great leadership and incredible service. We strive to deliver on these expectations every time.
We believe that your satisfaction should be guaranteed.

the price of obedience"
A message from Russ......
Thanks for visiting our website!
I have been in the business of training dogs full time since 1999 but my passion and compassion for our four legged companions goes back to my high school days.
I have always believed that there is really something special about dogs and their connection with humans. We are not masters of our dogs. We should establish our position as our dog's Pet Parent, entrusted with teaching, nurturing and enriching - not controlling our dog's lives.
There has been a tremendous amount of study conducted over the last 25 plus years on how dogs learn. We know that using positive reinforcement helps the dogs to learn faster, retain what they learn longer and most importantly - develop a stronger bond with you.
Canine Logic promotes, teaches and uses positive reinforcement methods.
